Rules governing use of the WPPS website, mobile app, and related services. They reflect the mission, sportsmanship standards, and operational expectations described in the WPPS League Operational Guide.
Agreement
By accessing or using WPPS digital services, you agree to these terms and to the league's published rules, event standards, and code of conduct. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
About WPPS
The WORLD WIDE POINTS SYSTEM (WPPS) is a global billiards organization that sanctions events, tracks ranking and redeemable points, and connects players, venues, and operators. WPPS supports multiple game formats (including 8-ball, 9-ball, and 10-ball) and provides a structured pathway from local play to international recognition.
Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate registration information. Certain events and features require a verified WPPS account. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account.
Acceptable use
- Use the platform only for lawful purposes and in line with league rules.
- Do not interfere with or disrupt the systems, score submission, or other users' access.
- Do not attempt to manipulate rankings, scores, or rewards outside the procedures defined by WPPS.
- Respect sportsmanship, integrity, and fair play — including conduct toward players, operators, staff, and venue personnel.
Points, rankings, and rewards
Ranking points and redeemable points are governed by league rules, event type, and verification. WPPS may correct errors, investigate disputes, and apply sanctions where misconduct or rule violations are found. Refund and cancellation policies for paid events or deposits are communicated at sign-up and may vary by venue or operator.
Intellectual property
WPPS names, logos, and marketing materials are protected. You may not use them without permission except as permitted for sanctioned events and official partner programs.
Disclaimer and limitation
Services are provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. WPPS is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, venue conditions, or third-party services. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; those limits apply only to the extent allowed by law.
Changes
WPPS may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes may be announced through the app, website, or official communications.
