Our commitment
WPPS is committed to protecting the personal information and privacy of all players, operators, and users of its technology platform. From account creation to live event tracking, we implement strong data security measures and responsible privacy practices to ensure transparency, trust, and compliance with global data protection standards.
What data we collect
WPPS only collects data necessary to provide our services and improve the user experience.
From players:
- Name, email address, and profile photo
- Player profile data (region, gender, skill classification)
- Event participation, match results, and point history
- QR code and unique WPPS ID
- Device and usage data for performance optimization
From operators:
- Venue details and contact information
- Tournament creation and score submission history
- Operator performance metrics and misconduct logs
WPPS does not collect payment information directly through the app or website. Financial transactions (e.g., rewards, event entries) are handled through secure third-party providers when applicable.
How your data is used
- Manage your WPPS profile and update rankings
- Verify eligibility and bonus category status (e.g., gender)
- Display accurate statistics and event history
- Communicate important league information (e.g., qualification, rule updates)
- Personalize your app experience (e.g., suggested events nearby)
- Collaborate with partners and sponsors to deliver personalized content and offers based on preferences, while respecting privacy
- Track misconduct and ensure competitive integrity
What we don't do
- WPPS does not sell your personal information.
- We do not store sensitive data such as passwords in plain text.
- We do not allow public search of players without login access.
Data security practices
- Systems are hosted using encrypted HTTPS protocols
- Account access is protected by secure login, with optional two-factor authentication (2FA)
- Event and profile data are stored in secured cloud infrastructure with restricted admin access
- Regular backups and monitoring help prevent data loss or intrusion
Your rights and controls
You can manage your data through the Settings area in the app or website: update or correct personal information; delete your account and request data removal; view participation and point history; opt in or out of promotional messages or announcements.
